She's 71 years old now and she's still alive and strong and is still doing a great job as Minnie!, Who going to replace her when she retires?

@Anthonyiscool64 Perhaps Bret Iwan's Wife could be Russi Taylor's successor for Minnie Mouse (and Maybe the Triplets as well).

@CuriousUserX90 Probably.

@CuriousUserX90 I think I just realized I already posted a comment of this before in October of last year.

Sorry I'm almost 2 weeks late, but Happy Birthday to the Now Oldest VA in The Simpsons.

@CuriousUserX90 Since Harry Shearer decided to stay after all, I rest my case.

 1 Shout Out!
Disney is going to be screwed if Russi retires from voice acting. She's been voicing Minnie since 1986, she does an excellent job voicing Minnie throughout the years. I still hope she will continue to voice Minnie and do other various voices in the future, I just really hope she doesn't retire from voice acting. I'm just saying for example I don't know what's going to happen to Disney if she does retire from voice acting in the future. I really hope she doesn't.

@Anthonyiscool64 Quite Right. Her Simpsons Characters (Martin, Uter, Sherri & Terri) would be retired from the show if her days comes to an end, the Producers Simply Retire Characters from the Show rather than recasting them. The next Miinie Mouse I think would be the Wife of Bret Iwan.

@CuriousUserX90 You are right about that. All I can say is, it depends on what happens in the future ahead of time, so we all still don't know yet, and she's now 70 years old. In my opinion, It depends what happens in the future! ;)

She is an excellent Minnie. She was married to Wayne until he died in 2009. Because of his death, I'm quite suprised that she continued voicing Minnie.

@Ross123 If it would have been amusing if she tried to voice Mickey himself at least once
But still she's the best Minnie Mouse especially next to the older cartoons with that nails on a chalkboard voice

And Huey, Dewey, Louie he he

@HienFan I agree that she is the best Minnie.

Though I can't really agree with the last part cause I don't remember Minnie's older voices as it's been a while since I saw the older cartoons and from the ones I saw, Minnie was barely in any of them.

@Ross123 Well she was pretty jerkish Minnie I mean in some of the episodes back(though not all) then I recall the last episode Walt voiced Mickey, Minnie is being rather petty and shallow with a strange strangled voice, I'm kinda thankful Russi at least doesn't sound like that
said at 1:53 PM on Sat Jan 17 2015
@HienFan I think the reason why Walt sounded like that was due to his heavy smoking. It's also one of the reasons why he stopped voicing Mickey.
said at 1:15 AM on Sun Jan 18 2015
@Ross123 I was talking about Minnie though, I don't think he voiced Minnie at that point
said at 11:10 AM on Tue Jan 20 2015
@HienFan I know talking about Minnie, that's why I used the word "also" just to bring up a factor as to why Walt sounded the way he did when voicing Minnie.

Besides Walt was heavy smoker before giving up on Mickey. Even though he stopped voicing the characters at different times, the voices he used could have been affected at different times too. Hope that makes sense.

She actually would've been a decent Mickey. Bret's been doing a pretty good job, but it would've been interesting to hear what Russi could've done with her male counterpart.
