 1 Shout Out!
Happy Birthday Richard Ian Cox!

He's gotta be the perfect actor for hot-blooded jerkasses with hearts of gold. In my opinion, this man was born to voice InuYasha. Like he's absolutely perfect, nailing his often grumpy and cocky personality as well as be able to handle his more emotional moments all the same. InuYasha as many people may know was my gateway anime so Richard's performance has a special place in my heart. My 2nd favourite role of his would be Allelujah Haptism as well as his evil split personality Hallelujah. Allelujah is a bit of a subversion of his usual typecast since he's a lot more quieter and more subdued...well initially at least, this guy character is more or less Gundam's answer to Bruce Banner with Hallelujah being The Hulk, the raging monster within, this is such an excellent performance.

I also loved his other performances as Kai Shiden, Shani Andras, Tolle Koenig, Ian Kelley, Scattorshot, Quicksilver, Burnerman.EXE, Snails and Grampa Gruff.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how he'll pull off Son Goku in the Ocean dub for DBZ Kai. It's a bit of a strange choice initially like InuYasha as Goku but Goku is honestly the total inverse of InuYasha in like every way and Richard can totally pull off a hot blooded lovable idiot, this should actually work really well. I have a feeling he will become my new favourite Ocean Goku..if or when that dub ever comes out.

Does anyone know why Goku from Dragon Ball Z Kai is on this guy's list of characters he's voiced?

It was confirmed that he will voice Goku in Ocean's dub of DBZ Kai.

@Music Meister Ah, okay. I didn't think Ocean would dub DBZ Kai, considering that there already is an english version of it. :P

@Music Meister Also, I'm wondering, how did Ocean get the rights to dub kai if funimation owns the rights? Does funimation only own the rights to the american dub or something?

@AmericanBuizel I don't know what it is but it's something that has to do with something that dates back to the 1996 dub. Also the UK got Funimation's dub

From the info we got from KaiserNeko, this guy or Allesandro Juliani possibly could be the new voice for Goku in Dragon Ball Z Kai for the alternate canadian dub!

@munsonx4 I still would rather have a woman voice the part, but out of those two, I'm definitely preferring Cox.

@CatsTuxedo I don't know. After listening to some of Juliani's other voice over roles I think he'd be a good Goku.
