Happy birthday and RIP Paul Frees!!!

I always felt he was perfect as the ever lovin' Thing!!! He had a really nice gruff voice and an excellent sense of humor, perfect for the character, and yet, he also nailed the moments where the Thing shows his sadness due to his appearance.

I also enjoyed him as Bombur, Elrond, Heap O'Calorie, Go Go Gomez, John Lennon, George Harrison, Uatu the Watcher and Evil Star.

Happy Birthday and RIP Paul Frees!

One of the first generation voice acting legends and greats without you, I don't we would have had so many other great VA's doing voice work for a living without your inspiration.

One of the first cartoons I ever saw was Tex Avery's 1954 '' Cellbound''. Paul Fress played the Prisoner, The warden and The Warden's Wife. Words aren't enough to describe his talent.

Paul Frees (1920 - 1986) was the greatest voice actor in the world.
He voiced Ludwig Von Drkae and other characters he was hired for.

How did he get so famous?
