Incredible. The guy was barely south of 100, that's a lot of living to go through. The Fox and the Hound was a significant movie of my childhood, and his role as Tod play a huge part in my memories of the movie.

RIP Mickey, you did a nice job on an episode of Full House. The reason why he was on Full House is because he played Mr. Dreghorn.

RIP Mickey, you were a wonderful actor in your films including The Fox and the Hound.

Sigh, the entertainment system is still cursed.

@Ross123 The "entertainment system" is cursed...because he passed away?
said at 12:27 AM on Tue Apr 8 2014
@Ross123 Keep in mind, he was pretty old.

@TylerMirage Have you forgotten the many deaths of this year.

James Avery passed away just before last year ended.

Philip Seymour Hoffman died only 2 months ago.

Then came that Youtuber that I forget the name of.

Followed by Ghostbusters Harold Ramis.

Then came Dynasty star Kate O'Mara.

Then the dice fell on Legend Mickey here.

Peaches Geldof died at the age of 25 only a day after. She was a tv presenter & model bur that still counts as entertainment value.

And just yesterday, we had wrestler The Ultimate Warrior leave us.

Believe me Now...

@Ross123 Is it any different than any other year?
said at 10:28 AM on Wed Apr 9 2014
@TheVengeanceKnight This is a BIG year for great movies that are soon to come out in theaters, with that in mind. Yes this year is a bit different. There aren't as many BIG deaths as this from really famous in a short amount of time. The gap between most of these deaths is pretty small. It's rumoured that this year is cursed, believe what you want to believe is all I can say.

I also noticed that it has been 100 years since the 1st World War, maybe the short amount of space between famous people is sorta a reminder of how many people died.

@Ross123 Yes, you're right. Those people did die this year. So what you're saying all of these people are passing away because the entertainment system is cursed? And as TVK brought up, how is that any different than any other year?

You...you do realize that people in law enforcement die every day too, right? And people in the army. And people in the education system also die. Grocers die. Firefighters die. Politicians die. Homeless people die too. Anybody can die. It's almost like EVERY "system" is cursed.
There is no "curse" in the entertainment system that's causing people to pass on. It's called LIFE. Being human. It's one of our defining traits.

@TylerMirage You could argue that life is cursed. ;-P

@Ross123 Famous people can do stuff that cause that too you know, then there's sudden illness.
said at 9:27 AM on Wed Dec 3 2014
@pete Oh yeah, so they can.

It's been 8 months since I posted that, the celebrity deaths started to die down in September. So yeah, no curse whatsoever then.

It's a shame Mickey Rooney has passed on, I loved hearing him as Santa Claus when I was a child. Even now, I still consider him to be THE Santa Claus. R.I.P Mr. Rooney.
