Happy Birthday Michelle Ruff.

She does an amazing job on voicing several different characters in Anime., and her acting range is very impressive.

My favorite roles from her include Rukia Kuchiki (Bleach), Yoko Littner (Gurren Lagann), Anri Sonohara (Durarara!!), and among others that are so many to list from.

Good luck for more voice work to come Michelle.

Happy Birthday Michelle Ruff!

She is easily one of the best leading ladies when it comes to anime dubbing, she's extremely versatile with the kind of roles she can voice as well as a very impressive acting range to boot.

It's hard to pick favourites with her but if I had to pick one it'd be Yoko Littner since that was the first major role I recognized her as and still one of my favourite girls in anime. Of course with that said the runner ups would have to include Yuki Nagato, Rukia Kuchiki, Anri Sonohara and Luna. All of which are usually all the major roles I tend to think of when talking about Michelle.

I also loved her performances as Yura Keikain, Euphemia li Britannia, Sonoshee McLaren, Fujiko Mine, Carl Clover, Mihiro Oiwakken, Eugenie Danglars, Maria Asagi, Zoe Orimoto, Aoi Tohsaka, Martha Mackenzie and Lan.

Happy Birthday Michelle Ruff, there is a reason your my favorite female VA and it's because you always give fantastic performances such as Yuki Nagato, Rukia, Yoko, Carl Clover, Euphima Li Britannia, Jill Valentine, Katherine, Manaka, & Anri.
Also I loved your performance as C.Viper, her serious and snarky attitude brought the character to life. And I wanted to say thank you for voicing Sinon, she was my favorite character in fiction even before she had an English voice, and you blew away my expectations and your voice matched her perfectly. Keep up the wonderful work Michelle.

Happy birthday to an actress I view highly. The range of characters she has played. From Chii from Chobits, Princess Euphemia from Code Geass, Katherine McBride from Catherine, C.Viper from Street Fighter 4, Bebel from Gargantia, Yuki Nagato from Haruhi Suzumiya and Tsukasa Hiiragi from Lucky Star.

I was pleased she landed the role of Shino Asada from Sword Art Online 2 and she didn't disappoint.

Who here thinks Michelle would do voicing Rei from Evangelion? I envision her just using her Yuki/Minami voice for her.

Outstanding, I never thought Funimation would bring her in to reprise her role of Fujiko Mine from Lupin The III Part II. Can't wait to hear perform the role once again. Big fan of Michelle's. Rukia, Miharu, Euphy, Anri, and now Fujiko once again.

@djz1079.rush The fact that FUNimation is willing to spend a little extra to bring more diversity and variety to their dubs on occasion is extremely welcome, seeing how their dubs seemed to have the same recycled cast list in many cases for a few straight years.

@PsychicVoiceSpy It doesn't matter. Diversity means nothing if acting is bad. Look at KLK. Diverse cast, yet horrible acting. Good Familiarity>Bad Diversity any day and if you don't see this, you cannot be a voice acting fan.
PsychicVoiceSpy

@AntiSabat666 What did I say here that indicated I prefer cast diversity over acting quality? All I said is that it's a nice change when a company that often likes to play favorites and constantly cast the same people decide to bring in someone they rarely or have never used in a dub before, which doesn't necessarily mean they're sacrificing the integrity of the acting itself.

If by 'KLK' you mean Kill la Kill, the dub isn't even out yet! All there is so far is one trailer, hardly enough to say the acting is horrible. What are you basing that claim on if not even a single episode of that dub is out yet? As for your last sentence, are you saying I'm not a real voice acting fan because you're assuming I value diversity over acting quality (which isn't the case)? If so, this has to be one of the most baseless, rude and ignorant things anyone has ever said to me on this website. Congratulations!

WOW! I've never really Goggled her to get to know which characters voices that she does, but I'm amazed. There are a bunch that I know! Like Yuki Nagato from 'The melancholy of Haruhi Suzimiya' AND of course Rukia (LUV HER!) from 'Bleach'! Hey, does anyone know if it's really ending I'm very sad about that ;( .
