Happy Birthday and RIP Mary Kay Bergman!

Such a tragedy to lose a great VA, especially at such a young age. She had a very impeccable range to voice characters like Daphne, Batgirl, Gwen Stacy, Timmy Turner, Snow White, Mrs. Butterworth, Jessie's Yodels, and almost every female character in South Park.

I hope wherever her soul found peace.

Her death is probably why Tara Strong was brought in, leading to one of her memorable roles.

I just finished Tenchu 2 yesterday and she knocked it out of the park as Lady Kagami. It's now probably my favorite role of hers.

If she died in 1999, why does she have roles from Beyond that Year.

@CuriousUserX90 Voice recording in western animation is done before the animation process, which takes at least half a year to complete for a typical TV episode, and even longer for a full-length movie. She would have recorded those roles before her death.

She was not Snow White in the '30s. That was Adrianna Caselotti.

She wasn't actually the voice of the bimbettes in Beauty and the Beast! She was the voice of Babette. (the candelabra). But she is still incredibly talented and she will be incredibly missed. RIP

Great voice actress that would have liked 2 have heard more of but sadly that's never going 2 happen. She thought she was losing her talent which sadly caused her 2 do what she did. Remember, without her there would be no Grey DeLisle. RIP Mary.

Reading this list of course im a bit sad but so many voices i never knew she did which is even more of a testament to her talent. I still contest the best female voice ever!

I remember her for her impeccable Daphne, her brilliantly passionate and energetic work on South Park... I know she had others, but I haven't been quite as exposed to those others. She would have been top dog of voice actresses right now had she made it through her struggles. Her range and her passion was extraordinary and I could tell from what I saw of her she was a wonderful person. God bless her. R.I.P.

Really is a shame she died so young. I found this, written by her husband Dino Andrade, and it's very beautiful and heartfelt.

She left us way too soon. She had so much range, and such amazing vocal delivery for all her wide variety of characters. It's a shame she's often only remembered for her sudden death.
