I'm so glad he finally got to voice in a Transformers series, he was the last major Gundam pilot VA from the English dub Gundam Wing to have a role in the franchise and man was he was awesome as Scowl. His voice sounds like a unique blend between Sean Astin and Ted Cole, it was great.

I hope Scowl makes another appearance in the second season, he's perfect as Grimlock's rival. I also really love this type of voice Scowl was, usually most Dinobots have really deep brutish voices but hearing Hildreth's take he goes for a light and youthful sounding voice yet he gets his destructive disdain for authority or humanity down nicely sounding like a real punk.

In addition to his Heero Yuy, I also love his performances as Red King, Daredevil, Angel, Cyclops and Quicksilver.

Happy Birthday Mark Hildreth!

Not to be confused with former pro wrestler Van Hammer, whose real name is also Mark Hildreth.

So is he Vancouver based mostly? Or does he just occasionally fly into L.A. to do voice work? I get that he's in a band and they tour a lot which might explain his voice roles in some L.A. stuff, but it seems strange that his body of work keeps fluctuating from Vancouver productions to L.A. productions.

Happy Birthday Mark Hildreth.

I thought you were a great fit as Heero Yuy in Gundam Wing. I wish they would let you reprise the role in future Gundam games.

@Autovolt Take this as a grain of salt, but it was apparently fangirls that lead him to leaving the role.

A little more greatness for his role as Heero Yuy perhaps.
