Mark Hamill would be a perfect casting choice for Cyclonus in the Transformers movies.

Think a combination of his voices for Arnim Zola from Amazing Spider-Man, Emperor Griffin from Dark Cloud 2, and Maximum from Fantastic Four.

Pretty cool he was in the English dub of Dark Cloud 2. Makes me wonder if someone like SquEnix would hire him on Final Fantasy, seeing that Disney already pays for Master Eraqus.

Happy Birthday Mark Hamill!!!

Perfect as Luke Skywalker in live-action, and I look forward to his return.

His Joker voice is classic and amazing. Haven't seen Killing Joke, but I look forward to it. His performance in Arkham Knight was also the best part of the game.

I also loved his Hobgoblin on Spider-Man, such a great, creepy role.

His Skips on Regular Show is also awesome, pretty cool that he plays so many background characters too.

His Solomon Grundy is really underrated. Can't believe that was him; it's so deep and emotional.

I also love his performances as Maltruant, Author, Nightmare, Arnim Zola, Klaw, Von Nebula, Spectre, Darth Bane, Tony Zucco, Trickster, Red Skull, Muska, Sinestro, Maximus, Gargoyle, King Raymond, Morlok, Ozai, Ricochet Rabbit, Stickybeard, Fear Feaster, Crybaby Clown, & Abraham Kane!!!

Happy birthday to the legendary Mark Hamill. You are an incredible voice actor and who knew you could turn from being Luke Skywalker from Star wars into The Joker from Batman: The Animated Series. There is no competition with who does the best voice of him. You are IMO the best at it. Have a wonderful day :D

Happy Birthday, Mark Hamill! One word: Joker. I mean, what hasn't been said about his performances and overall devotion to the role? Ignoring live-action, Hamill *is* the Joker. On top of him, my other favorite Mark Hamill roles consist of Stickybeard, Master Eraqus, Skips, Yamma, Senator Stampingston, Mr. Selatcia, Ozai, Larry 3000, and Skeleton King. Of course there's also Luke Skywalker; you serve your master well. And you will be rewarded.

Happy Birthday, Mark. I look forward to your return as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars Episode VIII.

It amazes me how he still continues to return as the voice of the Joker even after the Killing Joke, with JLA Action coming on.

Talk about devotion to his role.

It's a shame that people consider Mark Hamill a one-hit wonder for Luke Skywalker. Truth is, he's an extremely talented voice actor with many classic TV roles.

@thomwim As far as the mainstream media is concerned, Star Wars is the only worthwhile thing Hamill has ever done. Even the Joker isn't much more than a niche fanboy/geek role that not much passerby in the street would recognize him for. Besides, the whole point of being a VA is to be behind the scenes and outside the public eye.

Happy Birthday Mark Hamill!

He has played two of the most iconic characters in all of fiction. In live-action as the legendary archetypal hero Luke Skywalker and then of course voice acting wise as the Clown Prince of Crime himself, The Joker! Both of these performances are just excellent and it's very amusing just how different these two classic characters are.

Luke had an excellent character arc that really showed him growing up and maturing into a fine Jedi warrior. I was just amazed by how far the character came in Return of the Jedi. And then what hasn't already been said about the Joker? Mark is THE DEFINITIVE voice of The Joker as far as almost everyone is concerned. He created such a unique and distinct voice that just made us go "Yup This is the Joker", I think a lot of it was helped by the great writing of Batman the Animated Series and the voice direction of Andrea Romano, but it's hard to believe that he initially wasn't even cast as Joker, he originally came in to voice another character in another episode but as they were having difficulties with their original Joker voice (Tim Curry), Mark stepped in, blew everyone away and the rest is history. Whenever Mark reprises The Joker, it's such a treat even if he is sort of retired in the role.

Luckily he has continued doing voice work ever since and I have loved so many of his roles including The Trickster (which was awesome since he's played him in both live-action Flash TV shows and voiced him too), Spectre, Sinestro, Solomon Grundy, Tony Zucco, Fire Lord Ozai, Abraham Kane, Yamma, Stickybeard, Skips, Hobgoblin, Red Skull, Klaw, Maximus, Gargoyle, Nightmare, Wolverine, Darth Bane, Chanukah Zombie, Buzz Buzzard, Tweakey da Lackey, Woodrow Burns, Walter Hobbs, Fear Feaster, Punch Bowl and the Mysterious Old Man.

The last couple of years have been very kind to Mark. He's coming back to reprise Luke Skywalker for Star Wars Episode VII, which I am looking so forward to. I can't wait to see how he pulls off an Older Luke Skywalker, and not just that but he's finally going to be voicing The Joker in The Killing Joke, a story he's always wanted to play the Joker in. I am so freaking hyped for the both of them. It's also great to see him doing more live-action roles too and still doing voice acting. Overall Mark Hamill is easily one of the best all-time VA's.

Okay it was cool seeing him return as Luke Skywalker in The Force Awakens....for like 5 seconds of it. I was rather surprised just how little of a role he had in it, yeah his whole disappearance drives a chunk of the story but we don't get to see him again till the end and he didn't even get a single line of dialogue which was a bit disappointing. Fortunately it's a guarantee he'll have a much meatier role in Episode VIII, I can't wait to see what they do with him there. I thought Luke looked really cool and rugged from what we got to see with him, I can't wait to find out more of his connection to Rey and everything.

It's pretty great that Mark has been able to work on Star Wars and still continue to find time to do his usual voice acting gigs and even take on a few new roles the past year. How does he have time to do it all? I don't know but I'm glad he's able to.

I'm happy he finally got to do The Killing Joke at long last, I haven't seen it yet myself but I'll have to get around to it sometime soon. No doubt Mark is going to get a BTVA nomination for his performance there. It's also cool he got to finally portray Red Hood as well.

and speaking of Joker, I was really surprised that he's continuing to voice him. Yeah he said he was done a few years ago but just when you think he's done, they pull him right back in. I'm looking forward to him voicing in Justice League Action, it's nice to have Mark play Joker in a more lighter setting, he hasn't voiced him in a cartoon (not game or movie) in years and of course he's once again playing off of Kevin Conroy's Batman, which while it is becoming the standard once again, is still a treat IMO.

What's interesting to note is that Troy Baker was originally going to voice Joker in JLA but I guess they felt they could have gotten Mark instead, not that I'm complaining.

I've heard that Mark might also be voicing Swamp Thing in it, which should be an interesting casting choice as well. I'm hoping he's cast in a few more out of the box roles over the course of the series.

It's really awesome seeing an iconic actor still be able to play the roles, that made him a star in the first place.

Happy Birthday Mark Hamill!

He was interviewed on Preston and Steve today!! They talked about how they used his likeness for a hostage in The Kingsman comic, his voice work over the years with the Joker (obviously) being the most talked about, as well as Skips. Mark even points out the fact that he tends to be typecast as villains. He also talks about what it's like to be working on Star Wars again and being on the set, and how he's been trying to get a film adaption of his comic, The Black Pearl, off the ground. I believe he just needs to find a distributor. All in all, another great interview!!!
