Never knew she was the president in Shadow the Hedgehog. Man when I first played it, I didn't know that was her! =O

@Anthonyiscool64 And she was one of the best voices in that game too. The opening cutscene for GUN Fortress is where she sells a crappy character with a great performance.

Her Margarete in Shadow Hearts was STUNNING, and makes me wish we could've heard her in more female roles too. It's a real shame she passed away so young.

R.I.P. Maddie. You were a true talent with an impressive range, and seemed like a really nice and neat lady to boot. I'm lucky to have enjoyed so many of your performances from my childhood, and to still be discovering some of them even now. :)

Still, all her male roles were equally impressive. She was a true talent and

She seemed like such a neat lady and was really talented too. I love so many of her roles. May R.I.P.

Maddie was a really talented actress, and it's a real shame she passed away (may she R.I.P.), I always liked her broad vocal range, and her performances had a lot of character in them if you ask me: she will be missed in my book.

Happy Birthday and RIP Maddie Blaustein!

She had to have been one of the most talented VA's of all time. As a kid I always had wondered based on reading the end credits how a woman voiced so many male characters perfectly, when I got older I learned Maddie was transgender and a lot of it began to make more sense, it's such a tragedy she is no longer with us.

Maddie just had the ability to really make a character shine, Meowth obviously being her all time best role. I feel in just about every way she surpasses Inuko Inuyama (whose take I find rather grating) and her replacement JCC just doesn't hold up to the standard Maddie had done for many years. Well at least she was able to book one more gig on Pokemon before she died after TCPI took over.

Maddie was also excellent as Lt. Surge, Solomon Muto and Jillas. RIP Maddie, you will always be one of the greats in my book.

And I loved every moment of you being Meowth, Maddie. You took what Nathan brought to the role and really expanded on it while mixing it in with Inuyama's take: I don't think we'll ever get another Meowth voice actor/actress as dedicated as you were to him. R.I.P.

Happy birthday, Mrs. Blaustein. I really loved your Meowth, Rex Goodwin, and Solomon Moto voices over the years I had the pleasure and honor of listening to them. You'll always be the voice I hear in my head whenever I think of these three characters, and I consider myself fortunate to have been blessed enough to grow up with your voices. May you R.I.P.

Thanks. I couldn't agree more with you: Maddie really did a lot of great work over the years, and like you said, you don't really know what you have until it's gone. I respect you as well, and it is always nice to meet more fans of Maddie like yourself.

Wow, well I did not know she was intersex. But I found out last year I am Intersex, but somehow always knew. But I just identify as in between even though most would call me male.

Meowth is my mother's favourite Pokemon character. She just adores Meowth to bits. She likes to say she has a crush on him sometimes haha (even bought her a Meowth plush). I told her a few months ago a rumor I heard that the man (yes..I really thought it was man. I didn't look into it) died and she was so sad. I just can't stand hearing his voice these days. Just isn't the same Meowth.

She was TRANSGENDER, not transsexual. There is a difference. If someone could fix that, that would rock.

Well, the transexual fact sure cleared up my curiosity on her many male roles...I'm not sure whether to feel relieved or weirded out.

@Sarge Ray

why? people are born everyday with some sort of blend between male and female. It is normal and scientificly validated.
