I don't know why Tom is almost always cast as Asian (including non-Chinese) characters. She has more range than that. I wish casting directors would look past her race when casting her.

@PurpleWarrior13 I'm willing to chalk it up to a misguided pursuit of political correctness by white liberal casting directors who seem to forget or disregard the voice actor's ability to be people or characters other than themselves.

@CatsTuxedo I get the though process, but white liberals would actually go the opposite direction. They would have her playing everything, but an Asian character to try and prove they see past race. A conservative casting director would cast her the way she has been, to try and keep the status quo. In their minds it's just easier that way. P.S. it's not.

what happened to connie on king of the hill? she seems to have disappeared for many episodes only to resurface in the series finale with only one lie which could have been recorded for another episode...
