Happy Birthday Kevin M. Connolly!!

While I haven't been familair with his voice over work, he still has some solid vocal range as was shown with his roles as Kain Fuery and Kastro.

Speaking of Kastro, it was nice to see him in the role from last year's episodes (31-32) of "Hunter x Hunter". I said it before and I'm saying it again I couldn't help that I almost mistook him for David Vincent due to the similar voice and cadence.

I hope to hear him in more projects down the pipeline since he's very underappreciated and overlooked.

Happy Birthday Kevin M. Connolly!

It was cool hearing him as Kastro in Hunter X Hunter in the past year, I was very surprised to hear him in the role. I wasn't sure who they would cast but they found someone who managed to fit the role.

I have to say Kevin has a solid vocal range being able to voice both Kastro and Kain Fuery who are practically polar opposites in every way. Still I guess I'd say Kain is the role I'm more used to of his.

I am a bit surprised he hasn't voiced at FUNimation since after Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood has ended, most VA's that tend to start there and move west to LA still pop up every now and then?

Overall Kevin M. Connolly, is a very underrated and solid VA that definitely needs more work.

I recently watched the latest episode of Hunter x Hunter where he makes his series debut voicing Kastro, and I just want to say, WOW he does a an excellent job voicing him.

I also couldn't help that I nearly mistook him for David Vincent since his voice and cadence sounds very reminiscent to David's Senketsu in "Kill la Kill" and his other voice over roles.

Hope we get to see him in more LA projects very soon.

Hey all, I just stumbled across this thread as I was gathering material for my website, and I wanted to say thank for the comments. I am still working as an actor and VA, just have been been able to book much this year. I would love to be more active in anime, so fingers crossed for more auditions in the new year! Again, thank you so much for the positive energy. Cheers!

@kmc315 Meant to say I HAVEN'T been able to book much this year...I did audition for two anime series that I had my fingers crossed for, but sadly were not in the cards. If you'd like to hear me in a part or series, please feel free to let the companies know :-D

He should be cast as Shiro or Julietta one FUNimation starts dubbing Air Master.

@Matthew Robinson they only have the subtitle rights and honestly, the chances of them dubbing the series is next to impossible. They have had the rights to the show for years now.

He needs to be cast in Code:Breaker, Karneval, Red Data Girl, Nobunagun, OniAi, and Ben-To. He would probably be outstanding as Kenji in D-Frag and Mario in Rainbow: Nisha Robuko no Shichinin. Also, put him in Puchimas! and The Devil is a Part Timer. I could name other shows and roles but you probably get my point.

He's too underrated. He needs to be in more roles. Not just at Funimation, but also Viz Media, Media Blasters, Aniplex of America, etc.

Sorry I went off topic. Bottom line, GIVE HIM MORE ROLES, HE DESERVES MORE F**KING ROLES!!!!!

How do you possibly now that he's still an active VA?

@Matthew Robinson I do recall seeing his listed in the credits Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan. I know that's probably not much...
