Kevin Conroy doesn't play Batman. He IS Batman.

God, Kevin's voice in Arkham Knight is like twice as gravelly as the last time I heard him. Did he just inhale gravel?

@Music Meister ...Is it weird that I think he sounds really cool like this?

It's not at all a bad sound.

@Music Meister It did seem to be a bit more gravelly than normal, which made watching scenes of him and Gordon together hilarious. It was just two old men with deep, gravelly voices just HAHRHRHRHHHGGHHHGGRRRGGHHHHHHHH-ing at each other.

especially the following scene in Kevin's Arkham Knight clip where it's the two of them and John Noble talking together.

No matter how many actors play the character of Bruce Wayne/Batman in live-action or voice work, you will always BE the Dark Knight.

Happy Birthday, Kevin Conroy. The one and only true Batman.

I'll bet a lot of the firefighters and rescue workers that Kevin was cooking for were all loving parents that always sat down and watched B:TAS with their children. After all, what better incantation of Batman than the 90's cartoon? You know what, don't answer that.

Kevin is one of the biggest reasons I consider Batman to be my favorite character. I am so attached to him in the role that I once almost considered putting him as my #1 favorite VA... that's all I have to really say. He is just that good.

Happy birthday, Kevin. I look forward to all of your future work, Batman or otherwise.

He is awesome as Batman. I would like to put him on my favorite VAs list, but sadly, I don't consider him an actual voice actor, He's just Batman. Not disrespect though, he's still awesome ;-).

@VctrBnsn It's too bad he doesn't do much voice-work at all outside of Batman, when he does something different he's usually pretty good.

@PsychicVoiceSpy Well, it's still good he has this gig. It's awesome he's been voicing Batman for over 20 years now, longer than anyone else.

@VctrBnsn Yup, and I bet he'll be playing Batman as long as he humanly can.
said at 10:57 AM on Fri Nov 1 2013
@VctrBnsn Technically, any actor who does voice-acting is considered a voice actor.
said at 12:33 PM on Fri Nov 1 2013
@TheVengeanceKnight I guess he's had enough VA roles to consider himself that, especially since I don't think he's doing much TV anymore.

didn't have anything better so thought i would check out the web sight for a bit. so will kevin continue doing the voice for batman when the new one comes out hopefully they will have an robin instead of a female sidekick. i just love to watch batman tell kevin we have a movie he was in with lee horsely where he was a really bad fellow we still have it and watch it ever once and a while and we seen him on murder she wrote as well. we love a good show and i think he makes a fantastic batman. tg

@tigergirl IIRC he's not yet done with voice-over, so I wouldn't worry too much about him reprising Batman in the future. As for the movies, that all depends on the writers, producers, etc. Since he hasn't been voicing Batman quite as frequently in those, the role is pretty much "up for grabs" by this point.
