Kallen, Aigis, Nanako, Phi, Rouge, and Anna are my favorite roles of Karen, and she pull them all off perfectly!

 1 Shout Out!
Karen Strassman is a wonderful and extremely talented voice actress who has nailed characters like Rouge, Anna, and Olivia.

However, I have to give mad props to Karen for her work in P3 and P4 as Aigis and Nanako, respectively. She really nailed Nanako and actually managed to give a performance that actually sounded like a small child. She nailed Nanako's child-like and innocent mannerisms and made the performance sound like genuine for the character. If just 1% less effort was put into a performance for a character like Nanako, then she would've sounded pretty bad, but Karen did a really, really good job there, managed to not only sound like a child, but also bring out the spirit and personality of an innocent little girl. She really got into character there. Everyday's Great at Your Junes!

But Aigis deserves mad props. She gave a performance that not only sounded sincere to Aigis, but also managed to naturally give a performance with a changing delivery that transitioned as Aigis changed throughout Persona 3: going from a robotic, monotone delivery but naturally imbuing more emotion and humanity into the performance as Aigis's character started to obtain and embrace more human qualities as the story went on. Her performance at the very end of the game, during Makoto's final moments, was top notch: so much emotion right there and really nailed the scene and how much Aigis had changed at that point, and how much Makoto basically meant to her. She really managed to bring out the emotion in that scene and that was absolutely beautiful: her performance was a huge part of what made Persona 3's ending so intense and emotional.

Karen is such a fantastic VA, and she does wonderfully with many of her roles, but Persona 3 and Persona 4 really allowed her to showcase how talented she is and made strong use of her range. Her performances there were absolutely phenomenal and I have to give real props to her for her work on the Persona games. Here's to hoping I get to hear her more in the future, she's such a wonderful VA.

Happy Birthday Karen Strassman!

I absolutely adore her performance as Anna in Fire Emblem Awakening and Fates. It was pretty much the voice I had always imagined for her while playing the earlier games. I also thought she did a fantastic job with Aigis. Making her sound completely robotic to more human-sounding towards the end of the game. She really made the transition sound natural IMO.

I also liked her as Mozu, Hana, Natsuki, Nanako, Sola-Ui and Olivia!

Happy Birthday Karen Strassman!!

I loved the incredible versatile range she puts in her performances on the many characters she voiced as like Soi Fon, Kallen Stadtfeld/Kozuki, Kiyoh Bachika, Omiko Hakodate, Anna Fortner/Liebert, Nanako Dojima, to name a few.

Happy birthday Karen Strassman, the female Dave Wittenberg.

She has one of the most versatile ranges, capable of playing young boys, young girls, action girls, tough girls, sultry girls, teachers, mothers, and some more.

For a fun fact, she's pretty fluent in French, even going as far as having narrated commercials for Air France. She's even good with other accents too (German most notably).

Noteworthy performances include Emilia Kishitani, Urd, Mint Adenade, Aigis, Kitana, Mileena, Sola-Ui, Female Assassin, Rider, Michelle Neuhaus, Hanako, Seuigintou, Omiko Hakodate, Sawako Yamanaka, Heinkel Wolfe, young Pip Bernadotte, Nanako Dojima, Loni Garvey, Anna Fortner/Liebert, Satsuki Yatouji, Delphine Eraclea (it sucks that Funi didn't reprise Bang Zoom for Fam), Rouge the Bat, Striker, Poison, Mercedes Morcerf, Fantine Valjean, Soi Fon, Momo Hinamori, Sun-Sun, Kallen Stadtfeld/Kozuki, Mint Adenade, Miyuki Takara, Kiyoh Bachika, Yasuko Takasu, Nanako Kashii, Casvall Rem Deikun, Anise, Margaret, Paimon, and Kazuko Saotome.

Congratulations on landing a role on Iron-Blooded Orphans as Tomomi Bernstein.

I can't praise her Casval enough. I found it hard to believe it was her first major boy role.

She's got a great range, & really seems to emote in her VO stuff. It's great that she does (albeit smaller) live-action stuff, that she knows French, & she was even the French voice on LOST.

I kinda wish she were more in-demand, as it were.

It is cool she got to voice (Cinderella, of all things!) in Mickey Mouse shorts.

She reminds me of an anime Tara Strong.

Great work.

I love this woman, she always puts a hundred and ten percent in to her work and of course is extremely versatile and is amazing with accents especially French Accents.

I'm not sure which of her roles I loved more...There's the average everygirl turned badass Nina Fortner/Liebert in Monster, the lovable woman child mother Yasuko Takasu in Toradora! and of course the first role I ever heard as resident action girl and unofficial daughter of Domon Kasshu....Kallen Kozuki in Code Geass. Karen just rocked as these characters.

I also loved her performances as Rouge the Bat, Kiyoh Bachika, Muginami, Mercedes Morcerf, Fantine Valjean, Sola-Ui, Rider, Omiko Hakodate, Emilia Kishitani, Kazuko Saotome and her many roles on Magi.

I haven't heard her as Casval Rem Deikun yet and I'm very curious to see how she does a young boy voice.

I'm really amazed that she hadn't voiced a young boy before voicing Casval Rem Deikun, she sounded surprisingly natural and they really should cast her as more boys in the future. Definitely a stand out performance in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin's English dub.

I also liked her performance as Heinkel Wolfe in Hellsing Ultimate too.

When I was playing MK X, I recognised Mileena's voice. I knew i'd heard it in several other places. Doing some research, Not only did I remember it was from Kallen from Code Geass, but also Poison from Street Fighter. I love the voice so much

During the audio commentary of Hellsing Ultimate episode 7, Taliesin Jaffe was telling the story of casting young Seras Victoria. Strassman checked the script and saw there was a young British school girl. Taliesin was advising her not to, but she really wanted to play young Seras. Jaffe agreed, recorded young Seras's scene; Strassman left the recording booth not the good mood.

@YamiFangirlQueen Not even close for me, her voice of rouge sounds brilliantly unique compared to Lani's and Caren's.

And it ain't intentional for her to sound like what you said you know.

Her performance as Poison from Street Fighter X Tekken was fun to listen to. Sounded like Karen had alot of fun playing the character too, as if during the audition she read the description of Poison and maybe saw the character art and said to herself, "I've got this".
