Michael Sorich is also a good friend of his. He was the one that got him into doing prominent voice work in Digimon and Cyborg 009.
Was going to quit doing voice work in anime dubs back in 2001 for two reasons:
1. He is starting to like North American animation more.
2. Hates how the VA union system is in California when it comes to anime.
He got back into doing voice work in anime when Derek Stephen Prince was fired from Cyborg 009 when Sony thought he made his character "too wimpy".
Considers Hige of Wolf's Rain to be the most "kindred" character he ever played.
Likes the fact that they re-animated the mouth movements for him in Duel Masters. However he hated the fact that in the upcoming new season of Duel Masters they'll be recasting the whole show in a different part of California. (That is way too far for him to drive there.)
Is a firm believer that Anime Companies should spend MORE money on their voice talent. Hates the fact that they're constantly going for the cheaper route and says it could be a terrible strain in the Anime Industry in the US. Also dislikes the fact that he got more money from doing a small part in the Spongebob Squarepants movie than ALL of Digimon put together.
Even though Johnny Yong Bosch was deemed as "Guest of Honor" at the OtakuCon of 2004 he left earlier than the others and Josh's joke response was that he took all his money during Poker.

Happy birthday, Joshua Seth.
He definitely was memorable for his roles in Digimon.
I thought his Tetsuo was fantastic. One of the reasons why I preferred the newer dub of Akira.

The voice over world would benefit greatly if Joshua Seth returned to voice acting even for just a few roles..I wonder if he misses voice acting.

@SmartyBoyboy Huh, he probably would be pretty good, actually. I would have loved to hear him in a Final Fantasy or Tales of title.

Ummm... that "interview" with me was a bit hit or miss. I have no interest in opening a coffee shop or fantasizing about VO actresses (now if Meagan Fox or Penelope Cruz want to get into voice acting then that's a different story!). On the other hand, it's true that I retired from voice acting due to the poor residual structure. Since then I've been touring the world as a hypnotist and mentalist and having a blast.
