She was such as great voice actress.

My favorite Roles of her are:
1. Bulma
2. Future Bulma
3. Ukyo Kuonji
4. Dokinchan
5. and lastly Meryl Stryfe

It's such a shame that her finally video game performance was DB FighterZ. Hopefully Aya Hisakawa can bring charm to Bulma and possibly Dokinchan.

Happy Birthday Hiromi Tsuru.

I'm still in disbelief even now. Of all the voice actor deaths that happened in 2017, this one hit me the hardest. Part of that has to do with growing up with her voice for several years. She brought a whole lot to the Dragonball franchise for over 30 years as Bulma. It's not gonna be the same without her.

Happy Birthday and RIP Hiromi Tsuru.

I still cannot believe you're gone.

Aya Hisakawa is taking over the role of Bulma and no doubt she will succeed the role well but we all know, it's never going to be the same.

Out of all of the deaths in 2017, this is the one that was not totally unexpected but this is the one that emotionally hurt me.

Hard to believe that from now on, after Super and Fighterz, the Bulma we will now hear will not be Ms. Tsuru's voice, as it had been for over 30 years, since the very beginning of the franchise.

You are and will always be missed Hiromi.

So recently there was a memorial service for Hiromi Tsuru, this is what Nozawa had to say about Hiromi.

Nozawa: "No matter how many times I call your name, you can no longer respond. The Dragon Balls can grant any wish, but not this time...I'm sorry." She remembered how Tsuru had told her how happy she was that the two of them got to audition for DB together.

I'm absolutely heartbroken over the loss of Hiromi Tsuru.

Her Bulma is simply iconic and irreplaceable. She's been there from the very beginning and now she's gone.

If there's a rare silver lining in this, Bulma hasn't been in the current arc, so they at least have the time to find a suitable replacement, but whoever does take over the mantle of Bulma has huge shoes to fill.

I grew to love Hiromi's Bulma over the course of the year as I marathoned all of Dragon Ball Super (which I am now up to date on).

I also loved her performance as Meryl Stryfe in Trigun.

RIP Hiromi Tsuru, you will be missed.

She was a woman who did an amazing job on Bulma and in the Yakuza 0 game. I hope she rests in peace and that we all remember and cherish the good memories she created with Bulma.

Over 31 years... Over 31 long years did she voice Bulma. I had always enjoyed Tsuru's performance as that character since the day I decided to set the language track on Budokai Tenkaichi 3 to Japanese. And to hear that she breathed her last breath...? Very, *very* tragic indeed. My condolences go out to all the other friends she made throughout her life on Earth, Aoni Production, the talent agency she was represented by, and of course the family that helped raise her.

R.I.P Hiromi Tsuru. Bulma aside, I also liked her portrayals as the female voice for Yubel, Julia Chang, and Meryl Stryfe.

I always loved the original Dragon Ball series, and I always loved Bulma. I think in my honest opinion, she's one of the best characters in the whole series. She was really the original soul of Dragon Ball, with everything at the beginning really coming down to her, and Goku. Obviously people talk a lot about how Nozawa managed to voice Goku from childhood to adulthood all the way into present, but I think Tsuru deserves a lot of credit for that. After Goku, there is no character who got to mature or grow so much in front of the camera as Bulma, and I think Tsuru's portrayal was really key to that. I totally forgot she was the original Julia Chang and Naomi Hunter as well. May we never forget the 30+ years she committed to one of manga's best and most classic characters.

@NCZ I've read through this about 3 times already and I couldn't help but tear up. You basically summed it up perfectly. She was there right at the beginning. She left a legacy of great performances over the past 30 years. She will be sorely missed.

@NCZ Reports say she was found in an unconscious state in her car for about a day off the side of the road.

I’m so saddened that this had to happen. I don’t think Bulma will sound the same (or even will have more of a role)

... I dont want to think of whatll happen when Masako is gone.

@Ghosty404 I'm not even much of a sub watcher and I still feel really saddened by the news.

I really wonder what this means for Bulma, if she'll be retired or replaced. I know the series lost many seiyu's over the years, but not one for a character as major as Bulma.

RIP Hiromi Tsuru. She was the voice of Bulma for more than 30 years. I can't believe she's gone. She had a nice sweet voice for Bulma & there was a whole lot of range to her performances over the years. Merly Strife was another favourite performance of mine

The sad reality is, is that Dragonball as a whole is going to outlive most if not all of the Japanese seiyuu. That's the most heartbreaking thing of all :(

Rest well Hiromi. You will never be forgotten.

Great actress; probably the best voice Bulma has ever had, as well as the original Naomi Hunter (though Jennifer Hale is just as good if not better), & very good as Meryl Strife.

Also a good voice for the Major from GitS.

Will comment more after I've seen her other stuff.
