To anyone who thinks that Eric Stuart has retired for Voice Acting you can't be serious. I heard him to a two part episode on Yugioh Zexal as Jinlon so he hasn't retired yet. ;)

My absolute favorite role of Eric Stuart's was his rendition of Brock. I feel he always seemed to make Brock so warm, inviting, and gentle. Eric made Brock feel like that older brother sort of figure you could look up to when you were down or feeling sad, but was also very wise for his age.

Naturally, I also adore his Gourry Gabriev, Seto Kaiba, and like his James quite a bit. I wish him continued success with his career as a musician nowadays.

Eric, I know you still want to be part of Pokemon again. I checked on the Pokemon Wikia website. Don't worry. I've got a plan. Once I send over the plan to Veronica Taylor, I'll let you in on it. By the way, the Save Our Voice Actors campaign plans to focus on your work as the voice of James.

@Legacyman SOVA has campaign for many years now, and with little success. What are the chances of the current VAs being replaced now, especially since they have been doing the voices for 7 years?

Agreed. He was truly an excellent voice actor: very talented, and I always loved his work in Pokemon, Slayers, and Yu-Gi-Oh! He's also quite the musician: I would highly recommend checking out some of his albums.

Eric Stuart has retired and lives in Nashville, Tennessee at present, but he said he'd be willing to reprise his roles of Brock (maybe for a redub of Seasons 9-13 that will probably not happen but...) and James if TPCi contacted him. :D

Actually, he's still active in Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal, playing the role of Scotch. Eric may be able to come back to Pokemon just yet! :)

Despite being instantly recognizable (which could actually be a good quality, depending on perspective), he's a fine VA. He retired, true, but it can't be denied he had quite the career. He's not too bad at singing either, in or out of character.

I love his music and voice acting :) OMG He's really retired from VAing??? That's so SAD *sobs hysterically* I guess that means there is NO chance of Eric ever voicing James or Brock again... *sobs again* At least I've still got his music :)
