He actually spent a day with Frank Welker on his birthday. Now that is pretty awesome. Seeing the two masters of creature of animal voices together.

You know, aside from him and Frank Welker, I can't really think of any other voice actor who can provide scratch sounds for animals and creatures. (Maybe Fred Tatasciore or Steve Blum?)

He does a great job with Boba Fett and the other clones.

I hope that one day he gets to voice Jango Fett in something. Because why not?

Happy Birthday Dee Bradley Baker. He is essentially the second Frank Welker. And for good reason too.

Happy Birthday Dee Bradley Baker!

Truly one of the most talented voice actors of all time and it's not hard to see why he is TheVegenceKnight's and one of so many others favourite VA. The amount of characters and voices he can do is simply extraordinary especially since he can perform animal sound effects perfectly just like Frank Welker.

I think his work in the Avatar franchise is incredible, yes most of the roles he played were animals like Momo, Appa, Naga and Pabu in particular but it's his turn as the corrupt politician Tarlokk that's my personal favourite of his. It surprised me how well Dee voiced this smug snake and yet be able to still feel any sort of sympathy for him as we find out more of his past. It was this role that reminded me...oh yeah Dee can voice human characters too.

Of course that's not the only highlight, there are The Clones in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, first of all he voice matches Temuera Morrison perfectly, second he distinguishes the Clones from each other voicing them in different pitches and infliction as well as bringing out a great deal of emotion to each one. Plus the New Zealand accent just rocks. He also did well as Boba Fett in The Force Unleashed.

Then there's his work on Ben 10....Ok I'll admit they overcast him in Alien Force/Ultimate Alien and I think they stretched the full extent of his range but he was by no means bad. His best alien voices include Wildmutt, Stinkfly, Swampfire, Spidermonkey, Big Chill, Echo Echo, Humungosaur, Goop, NRG, Clockwork, Water Hazard, Wildvine, Astrodactyl and Crasshopper. He was also very good as Psyphon too.

I also loved Dee's many other roles too including Klaus, Numbuh 4, Squilliam Fancyson, Perch Perkins, Kevin the Sea Cuccumber, Bubble Bass, Monty P. Moneybags, Dream Gary, Smitty Werben Jaegermanjensen, Richard, Junior, Curt Connors/The Lizard, Carnage, Scorpion, Mr. Fantastic, Nightcrawler, Annihilus, Atomic Skull, Larfleeze, Desaad, Etrigan, Clock King, Tin, Scarecrow, Cinderblock, Plasmus, Silkie, Larry the Titan, Alien Dog, Soto, Top, Dad (Cow and Chicken), Daffy Duck, Perry the Platypus, Waddles, Lion and The Gravemind.

No doubt he will just continue to get more and more roles over the years. I have a feeling by the end of his career he will reach 2,000 credits...I think he might have the most roles by any voice actors of all time, even if a majority is from animal voices.

At this point, I think we can all agree that Dee Bradley Baker is basically the second Frank Welker. Like Welker, he's often casted as animals. And he does a superb job. Will he surpass Welker in numbers of roles? Who knows? But over 1100 roles is an impressive feat.

My favorite work of his is actually his Ben 10 aliens...the GOOD ones, I mean...

It's insane how he racks up credits so quickly, and has such a wide vocal range to boot. Assigning all those SpongeBob credits made me realize what a beast he was on that show, not to mention his work as the most viewtiful protagonist of all time.

One thing is very clear: Dee's nuts.

@NCZ Now this makes me wonder one thing:
Will he surpass Frank Welker? Cause at the rate he's going it looks like there's a possibility.
