Daisuke Gori was one of the most skilled voice actors that i've ever heard, since my childhood i remember him for his iconic role of Heihachi Mishima, his voice felt like it rightfully belonged to the character itself, and his loss, 17 January 2010, still affects Tekken fans, that day we lost a great talent, while i praise Ishizuka's work and skill, everytime i see Heihachi, regardless it reminds me of Daisuke Gori and i can't imagine but his voice while he speaks, hearing another one's voice feels wrong, without him Heihachi doesn't feel like Heihachi.

R.I.P Daisuke Gori,we still miss you wherever you are, i hope you are at peace .

Happy Birthday and RIP Daisuke Gori!

He was one of the greatest seiyuus of all time, amazing in villain roles, brutish roles and most especially comedic roles and of course also one of the best seiyuus in foreign dubbing too.

His best role was as Mr. Satan in Dragon Ball Z and while Unsho Ishizuka is a great successor in the role, Gori IS SATAN!

I also loved his performances as Ox King, King Yemma, King Cold, Shenron, Turtle, Dozle Zabi, Bask Om, Heihachi Mishima, Shabranigdo, Descartes, Matsunosuke, Ukki Red/Red Monkey, Yosemite Sam, Bruce, Baloo, First Mate Arrow, Andross, Pigma Dengar, General Pepper, Diesel, Gori Rider, Soundwave, Goryu/Dinoking, Dauros and Violen Jiger.

Seriously Violen Jiger was an amazing example of Daisuke's range, voicing this 3 headed, 3 faced big baddie, especially with one of the voices being really high pitch and comedic.

It's been 8 years now since his untimely and tragic death and he is still very much missed, now and forever more.

Happy birthday and R.I.P., Daisuke Gori.

He was an amazing voice actor with an epic voice. His performance as Mr. Satan was hilarious, but I also liked his performances in other anime.

It's really sad what happened to him in his later years.

He'll always be missed.

I still miss him to this day. Many iconic roles in that of Heihachi Mishima & Mr Satan. What was happening to him prior to him committing suicide, is still really sad, even to this day.

Happy Birthday and R.I.P., Yoshio Nagahori aka Daisuke Gori! He was by far one of the most baddest-sounding seiyuu out there in the field. From his sublime timbre to just how recognizable that voice of his was generally speaking, the mark he left will never be forgotten and will always be remembered.

Gori didn't just voice Heihachi Mishima; he *was* Heihachi. Just like the character himself, he could sound serious, dark, and even outright comical. The original King of Iron Fist aside, I also enjoyed Daisuke's performances as Yosemite Sam, Bass Armstrong, E. Honda, Gouki, Leo, Kongou, Valdoll/Scion, Musashibo Benkei, Hercule/Mr. Satan, King Cold, Raiden, Dondochakka Bilstin, Matsunosuke, Genma Himuro, Andross, and Pigma Dengar.

I love that he's overdubbed both Michael Clarke Duncan AND Phil Harris. In fact, his dub resume is just as impressive as that for his anime roles.
