Brice was very talented: he had a sort of warm grandfatherly tone to his Dragonball Narration, his Ginyu was fun to listen to, and I liked his Tim Marcoh voice a lot from FMA. Hope his retirement is going well, Brice was definitely one of FUNimation's best.

I know I'm a few days late, but happy birthday Brice Armstrong. His voice was one of the most unique ones I heard when watching anime in my early years, and his Ginyu really new how to ham it. Pity he retired but everyone's day comes when it's time. Hope he's enjoying retirement. And remember...STYLE!

Happy Birthday Brice Armstrong!

He was a wonderful VA at FUNimation, one with a great deep voice that carried a lot of gravitas and weight in his roles.

My favourite role of his was as Tim Marcoh in Fullmetal Alchemist, he was a minor character but he truly poured his heart and soul in this role for a former soldier turned doctor full of regret and for that it's my favourite.

I really wish he could have waited to retire till after Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood came out since Marcoh had a much bigger role in the show. The late Jerry Russell was good but I preferred Brice's voice and it would have been a nice way to end off his great career.

I also loved his performances as Lord Slug and Captain Ginyu.

Happy Birthday, Brice. I have to say, I miss your voice in Funimation's dubs. You were a top-notch narrator too. I hope you still have many more happy years ahead of you.

I have to say he had a great voice and he was one of the best for wise old men, but the man's old. I wish he still did some supporting roles or still did wise old men for FUNimation, but I think he picked a good time to retire.

He was definitely a good Narrator in Dragon Ball and pretty good as Ginyu in the semi-redub of DBZ.

It is a shame he retired, but at his age perhaps it was for the best.

He is my favorite Narrator in the Dragon Ball franchise.

Agreed. Ginyu's just not the same without Brice providing the voice.

Happy Birthday Brice!
rewatching Dragonball and loving all his narration really brings a good storybook feel to the story. Really missed him in Kai's dub
