Brian Drummond is an awesome voice actor, my favorite of his are Vegeta, Ryuk, and Zechs Marquisse. I also had the pleasure of meeting him in person and let me say that he is an awesome guy. Keep up the good work Brian and hope to see you in more shows.

@deadleftinggod
I myself found Drummond's Vegeta a bit too high pitch and prefer Sabat's version (especially in Dragon Ball Kai).
Ryuk IMO is Drummond's best work. I like his Venom too.
Interesting that you consider the Ocean dub a competent DBZ dub.
It was missing episodes, had edits, script changes, music replacement and several cast changes (e.g. 3 different Gokus anyone?) and miscast/not so great performances.
Not trying to bash it (since I did enjoy some parts of it and some of the VAs); I'm just stating facts. I think you even know this too although you may not want to admit it. You yourself said "earlier" episodes because the Ocean cast did kind of get worse later on.
Scott McNeil (Piccolo) even said himself that part of the reason for the decrease in quality was the number of director changes who each had their own vision of what the show should be.
Funimation had some script changes and music replacement too. It also had some TV edits but after parting ways with Saban the editing was very minor.
At least there's an uncut DVD version (and not missing episodes) plus there's a music track with the original Japanese score, the Funimation cast also improved much more as the show went on (something I can't say for TPCI Pokemon cast).
Overall the Funimation DBZ dub is better than the DBZ Ocean dub IMO. Also based on the VC votes, majority of people seem to agree.

Brian Drummond is my favorite voice actor. He has done so many roles that I have enjoyed immensely. His Vegeta (especially the earlier episodes) was so good, I can't watch the God awful Funimation dub. Sabat's version is like fingernails on a chalkboard. I wish I lived in Canada so I could have a competently done DBZ dub to listen to.

I preferred his Vegeta over Chris Sabat (not to say Sabat wasn't good) since Drummond voiced the character during the late 90's. It was a pity that the Canadian and UK airing of DBZ had to be edited (like the script) to comply with TV regulation so parents and other people won't complain so much. His Ryuk from Death Note was awesome too.
