@Anthonyiscool64 Who I think it could be:
*Someone old.
*Someone from the UK.
*Someone who'd always be happy to voice him for everything, and will like and feel a bit like the Character.
Alan Young was just that, a perfect casting choice.

@CuriousUserX90 I forgot this. Someone who's not a Straight up Voice Actor (Russi Taylor for example is a Straight up Voice Actor, Alan Young was not).

How about Corey Burton? He would make a great replacement for Young and as Scrooge too. I can picture him for the role in my head, he would be perfect for the role.

RIP Alan Young, you will be missed.

It's pretty awesome that up until his recent passing he was still voicing Scrooge McDuck every now and then and still bringing a lot of energy to the role even at his age.

It was also cool that he voiced in the original dub of Gatchaman too.

Whoever does take over the role of Scrooge from him has very big shoes to fill.

I've heard this man's voice since I was in elementary school and now, I'm in my 30s. Alan has been the voice of Scrooge for so long now. It was great that he reprised the role in Birth by Sleep and DuckTales: Remastered. He still had it all that time.

RIP Alan Young. Thank you for such a great performance.

Of all the celebrity deaths that have been happening, Alan's death hit me hard.
I loved his Scrooge McDuck when i was a kid, then hearing it again in Birth By Sleep made me have a huge smile in my face.
I just hope who ever voices Scrooge McDuck in the new Duck Tales does a fantastic job, goodbye Uncle Scrooge, thanks for the memories.

This is terrible, Alan Young didn't even make it to be 100, hopefully fellow VA June Foray will. It's nice that nothing got in the way with him voicing Scrooge. May he Rest in Piece either way, not sure how they can do DuckTales Remastered 2 and the DuckTales Reboot without him. It was nice that even he at the age of 93 was able to reprise his role in DuckTales Remastered.

RIP Alan Young, You were easily one of the best voices for Scrooge McDuck for the past 42 years. At least you managed to reprise your role as the Richest Duck in all of Duckburg, better yet the world in the video games Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and DuckTales: Remastered, along with making a short appearance in an episode of the 2013 Mickey Mouse series.

Heart goes out to his family and loved ones.

Happy Birthday Alan Young!

How awesome is that he's turning 96 today, it really is. I think he's absolutely perfect as Scrooge McDuck so perfect that even know at his old age, he's still able to bring so much energy to the role he's been doing these last 30 years. My favourite performances of Alan's as Scrooge has to be in both DuckTales and Mickey's Christmas Carol.

also it's interesting to see that he voiced in the Battle of the Planets dub of Gatchaman.

He was fantastic as Keyop and 7-Zark-7 in Battle of the Planets. Also, I enjoyed him as Mr. Frump in the Spider-Friends cartoon and as the Cyclops Computer in the 1982 Hulk cartoon. He also had a lot of amazing radio roles.

@HyperVoiceActing I do wonder though if (similar to Harry Shearer recently returning to The Simpsons), that Disney might change their minds about casting in the reboot. Especially after hearing what the fans have to say.

And since people are living a lot longer these days, I hope Alan Young is one of those individuals. I wanna hear him voice Scrooge McDuck (in many projects, not just the 2017 DuckTales reboot) for several more years!
