I find it difficult to comprehend why someone with proven vocal talent would continue making stuff like "Jack and Jill" and "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry". If it's because he knowingly exploits the low standards of mainstream audiences in order to pay his bills, that'd be a good enough reason for me and it'd at least allow me to hold a bit more respect for him.
